I'm wanna enlist & don't wanna use the college $ for a school in my state.?

If I move to a new state could I use the money for college in the new state?
Edited to add: I would be enlisting in the Marines.
 
First you have to know that the national guard has their own bases and more organize than the reserves, because the reserves is exactly that "reserve". If you sign up for the national guard yes you can transfer to a different state; however, every state differs on their education coverage. For example, nebraska may cover 75% of schooling but the state of maryland covers 100%. So, check with the state you are moving to and see what the rules are. Talk to a national guard recruiter and they will be able to tell you what the college coverage in every state. In short, you can transfer to a different state, along with that you will inherit a new benefit package.
