im vegan.. and im a little embarrassed to admit this, but im considering adding

fish to my diet..? and by the way, i definitely wouldnt call myself vegan anymore if i did decided to eat fish.. i just find people like that annoying.
i havent had any animal product in over 6 months.. but ive been training really hard lately and ive been finding it hard to get complete proteins. i always eat soy and combine things like brown rice with navy beans or w/e.. to get complete proteins.. but to be honest, i wouldnt have a huge problem eating a little fish every once in a while..

the only problems i have with it are that theres harmful metals found in fish, and the oceans are being cleaned out so much that other animals are left starving..

im just really not sure what to do..

i feel like im going against my values here

anyways, advice is welcome, just dont be too rude please.

you could add chicken and fish, to get your necessary proteins.
Im not a vegetarian, i do eat meat, because thats the way i was made. We werent made to eat only veggies and fruit (although those are the most delicious), were meant to eat meat, to get necessary nutrients, you shouldnt feel guilty, God put animals (like chickens, pigs, and cows) on this planet for us to eat. its kind of sad if you think about it in detail, those farm animals are so cute! but by going vegetarian your not making a difference, they will still kill animals?
but my point being, you should add fish if you want to, it wont make you a murderer. And in fact, if you do add fish to your diet, youll find a vast improvement in your skin and hair
 
Fish lower on the food chain would have a smaller amount of metals in them. Also, with humans catching all their predators, these fish would probably have seen an unatural increase in population. Do your research. I'm sure you can find certain fish species that meet your standards and you wouldn't feel bad about eating.
 
It's amazing to see how people can live without eating any type of meat!!!

Eating true meat of living animals is the best food you can find!!!
 
well if you feel bad about then don't do it, i think being a vegan/vegetarian or whatever it's your choice and you do it cos you care about other living beings but you have to take in consideration what you feel good doing, it makes no sense to eat fish for your 'health' if you are gonna regreat it as soon as you eat it, and on the other hand it makes no sense to not eat meat if you want to, i'm a vegetarian but because i think is the right thing i truly believe in it and i feel really good doing it. i'm not a doctor, but i'm sure you don't need the fish to get protein, google some recipes that includes what you need i'm sure there are. Hope it helps =)
