K Kiwi Mae New member Nov 3, 2010 #28 Definetly preferred the book. Not many of King's books translate to film/TV very well, Tommy Knockers, The Stand to name a couple of disasters. Pennywise was played by Tim Curry, who seems to do menacing quite well.
