My mother and I are trying to program an RCA Universal remote to a Coby cable box. We've done this once before, but not with a Coby and I'm wondering if it's even possible. Coby is not on the list of compatible codes for the remote, but my mother insists that it must work, or that Coby has a main branch named something else.
I've looked, and Coby is /Coby/, she says she understands, but insists that it's wrong.
We've spent about two hours trying to program this remote with no luck whatsoever.
What's wrong? The Coby cable box came with a remote, but it crapped out a few months ago.
