This is a book I read many years ago (about 13) after borrowing it from the Barbra Frum library in Toronto.
It's a mesh of folk tales, including Baba Yaga, a narrowing glass bridge, giants, magic potions and a magic sword.
I don't remeber the title or the author, so I'm kinda lost...
That's all I can remember, and google hasn't been able to help me...
Can you help me?
Thanks!

Reference Librarians, and Children's Librarians are wonderful almost wizardly resources, who use the old brain pan and often work well with other brain pans. Go in sometime to a local real library, at a time when the children's section is not inundated with young-uns, and ask the question of a librarian who appears to be over 40. Failing that, I think there is a searchable database the reference librarian can tell you about which will help. Then if that fails, call your local independent bookseller, or drop by. Again, you want to talk to someone who is not 20, ideally. Good Luck!
