I'm trying to calibrate my samsung eternity but it's not working?

The touch screen is completely wrong. I can't reply to texts because when I hit reply, it hits the button next to it.

I tried to calibrate it, but the X I have to hit won't do anything.
Like I keep pressing it but it doesn't recognize it or move.

It's making me crazy... Anyone know what to do?
