I've been riding a ninja 250 for about 6 months now and i'm sick of it. lack of power and everything. I need a bigger bike... so I'm looking into the Suzuki gs500f or a katana 600. I need to know what you would recomed from price power handing. everything about both bikes t help me out. Thank you

Don't listen to the squids. They probably wear those lame mohawk helmets too.
Lots of respect to you for not jumping up in to a liter bike. You're doing the right thing.
The Katana 600 is a fantastic bike if you can get over the ugly tail section. Also check out the SV 650. These are great for both the street & believe it or not, the track. Very fun, very nimble, & reliable.

the gs500f ...note the 'F'...Its for female...its a woman's bike...as kev said go for the gsxr or the s-rad,there a mans bike...or go the whole hog and get a R1.

the 250 was a great starter bike but as the guy above said you wont be happy with a 500 in month or less you will be wanting a 600 the katana is a good start for the 600 class as well as kawasaki's zzr600 or honda's cbr 600 but not the rr

I don't know about your driving skills but did you see the
Suzuki gsx600r it's pretty sweet.

Get yourself over to the largest multi-line dealer in the area and
check out what's out there these days.

I personally think that a 500 would be a quick stepping stone for
you and you'll be better off with a 600..

Now I don't mean to push power on you at all here but moving to
4 cylinder in-line as opposed to a single cylinder bike is going to
make a world of comfort and riding pleasure quite awesome.

So do your homework slowly and carefully and you'll pick a great
next bike.. Get ready to sell that Ninja 250. The month to buy
is now....

Good Luck to you..
