I'm thinking of going into the field of education. Question?

Alright, well i'm in high school still and it's about time I start thinking about my future. I was thinking i'd like to be a teacher.
Preferably a 6th grade English teacher.

I was wondering what sort of courses I would need to take in order to do that.

Anyone?
