Deep down in the jungle
Where uncertainty thrives.
With the secounds that pass
Comes the breath of the lives -
Of the animals dreaming,
Unconcious with sleep.
And silence envelops,
For there is none a peep.
A trickling stream
Bores an image of white.
The cresent moon,
Is signalling night.
Beside the drip drop of water
Lays a family of deer.
And as darkness imposes,
Their ignorance is clear.
For no matter how calm
The jungle may seem.
Theres a predators eyes,
With hunger that gleam.
The black drongos settle,
Above in the trees.
Their mournful howls
Like wind of the seas.
But their judgement of danger,
Seem to forget.
The merciless hunter,
Climbing claws I will bet.
And of course this animal,
Concealed by the night.
Which catches the birds before their feared flight.
The hunter of deer,
With no time to flee.
The deadly pounce that comes stealthily.
Who is this intruder,
Who prowls on the land?
I'll give you a hint,
On 4 feet they stand.
A chorus of black,
Orange and white.
Head to toe striped,
An eye catching sight.
This feline creature,
An endless poem.
Their movements, poise,
The way they roam.
And for he
Who watches the jungle and night.
Will see the tiger,
Retreat at sunlight.
Where uncertainty thrives.
With the secounds that pass
Comes the breath of the lives -
