I'm thinking of buying a male and female Siamese Fighting Fishes home to breed. What does my tank need?

I have never owned a betta before and I really need your help for this. What does my tank need for it to be suitable for a betta? My tank is now filled with water mixed with anti-chlorine. I have a mini house and a few gravels (less than 0.5kg). My tank is 10-gallons. I have no water plants. Another question is, would putting a male and a female betta together be a good idea? Will both of them fight? If yes, what should I do about it? Because I want them to live together in the same tank, and if possible, breed.

I am open to all opinions and suggestions. Thanks!
