I'm looking for a 1st bike for my son who has just completed the CBT course and he would like a trail style bike. I''m looking at a 2004(54) honda xr 125 12000miles at 4 this afternoon and with limited knowledge not sure what i should be looking for ,it's £800 and has 12 months MOT.
I will check the forks for leaks and engine for same and have a general look over the bike and have a listen the the engine for knocks/rattles etc but are there any common faults with these xr 125 bikes that i need to look for??
