The seals roamed the rocky shore, splashing and squirming like a fish caught on a fisherman's pole.
Their skin as rough as shattered glass, yet as smooth as a baby's face.
Their scent, their illusive trace of joy, sweeter than roses and stronger than wet paint.
Their voice, their glorious yawn of freedom, their empowering roar of glory.
