im taking care of my gf dog.but she doesnt want to eat.is their anything i can do?

Don't fuss over the dog while it's not eating. It will get hungry and then almost certainly eat. When it does, make a fuss of it then.

Feed both dogs separately in case the older dog is intimidated by eating with another dog - especially a pup which may not respect food boundaries.

I would say that as long as the dog is drinking, it will be okay for a few days if it persists in not eating. Hope your gf comes home soon!
 
Yes, the presence of the other dog may have an effect on your girl friend's dog, especially if your dog is a female, too. However, the change of surroundings is also a factor. When boarded (change of surroundings), many dogs refuse food for 3 days and eat on the fourth day. Very few hold out past 4 days. If the dog seems ill at all, call your vet.
