areas to avoid cross pollination? Ok so I'm a newbie and for the first time I planted some of my garden halfway but I'm not done yet!
Today I planted two blueberry bushes 3 ft. apart, they are just babies just a green stem and a couple of branches with unopened buds on them.
Then I planted a rassberry bush next to one of the blueberry bushes 3 ft. apart. The stem is brown with no branches on it.
Now, tomarrow I'm going to plant vegetables and fruit. The vegetables are going to be next to the berry bushes in straight lines across like a field and the fruit are going to be seperated on the other side of the garden.
The veggies consist of: Corn, Lettuce, Tomatos, Jalapanos, Carrots, Sqush, Cucumber, and potatoes.
The fruits consist of : Strawberries, and Melons.
Now I not sure what cross pllination means but, I have a feeling that it's not good. Can someone please explain what this means to me. What am I doing wrong, and how could I make it right. Thank you.
