im so confused about Lark? (Vampire Diares- show)?

im so confused. in todays episode isobel showed up and she dated Lark but now Jenna's dating him. and who is elena's father/uncle how is that possible? i dont get it.
 
He married isobel she began a vampire and left he went and met jenna and now here is dating her and John is Elena birth father.
But Lark is really Klaus so i believe he plan everything he plan marry isobel he plan her being a vampire he plan getting with jenna all of this just to get elena and kathrine
 
Isobel and Alaric were married but Isobel abandoned him when she became a vampire, so Alaric is dating Jenna now. Elena always thought John was her uncle but she recently found out that biologically, he is her father(Isobel is her biological mother).
 
im confused also. cant the vampires sense that someone else is a vampire? how did they not know that lark was a vampire??
