You aren't emo, Unfa. Just sad, tired, and stressed out. It happens. Especially in our stupid society where overworking and moving fast is considered good. It really isn't.
You obviously need a good rest and escape to reorganize and strategize your plans, thoughts, and general life. Everyone needs to do that from time to time. Our bodies and brains aren't designed to be in overload all the time. Constant stress is a rapidly growing problem. Can't drive because of a shitty car? Walk somewhere. Fresh air and cardio is great for the mind and body. You can do alot of thinking during a good walk. Plus it's free and you don't need a whole day to do it. Take a walk everyday. You can even incorporate other hobbies into a walk. Birdwatching for example. Looking at cool or historic homes is also fun.
I certainly would take DG's advice with a grain of salt. It's grumpy, cynical, and not the correct advice for everyone. DG, you are not the ultimate authority on everyone's life and you don't know how everyone reacts to stress. Simply telling someone to "get over it" rather than offer logical and helpful suggestions is awfully bratty.
People who tell those with legitimate stress issues to "to get over it" need to get over themselves. IMHO. Unfa is not some melodramatic 15-year old who's biggest problem in life is not getting high enough grades to go to a metal concert.
I feel his pain and he needs help before he suffers from a breakdown like so many people do.
