im just signing over the title and coping his ID. but should i do sumthing else? i dont need bill of sale in my state. should i create a document stating the bike is being sold as is and im not responsible for anything? if so how should i word it? and how to
 
Bill of sale isn't required in my state either but I still made one when buying and selling. It protects you in any case.

Better ti have and not need than to need and not have.
