I'm scared (??)

About a month ago I saw the movie "The Grudge" and since then I became... well... a pussy.
When I'm alone in the house, I try not to leave my room, and when I do, I get REALLY nervous, and do what I have to do quickly. The... 'pussiness' started about 2 months ago, when I stopped playing Silent Hill 4. It's so strange... I used to play those games so much... what's happening to me...
When I go to take a piss... My brain forces me to believe that there's something in my parents bedroom (which is on the other end of the... corridor)... It's fucking scary. I'm turning 14 in 2 months, and I ironicly I'm not becoming any braver...
By the way all the teenage people I know are scared too.

same thing happened to me after i saw it, mainly the night i saw it i was alone in my house. when i went to sleep i was paranoid about the thing up by my ceiling. when i would leave my room to get something to eat i would run back in to my room.. haha it sounds so pussy. the night i saw it my mom left the attic light on and it scared the shit out of me when i was opening the door.. a dark garage with an attic light on that is never usually on??!! my mom was fixing something on my roof and didnt finish it so all night when the wind came threw the house i heard a loud noise sounding like some one was drilling a screw threw my ceiling. u will get over it give it a few days. if u are scared face the fear. turn on the light before u go to sleep and make sure theres nothing in that "scary closet"

HAHAHAAH thats so freaking patheic, how can movies scare you? i saw that and i laughed as each of the poor bastards died. dont wait, seek therapy NOW
:sword:

I know it goes away eventually, like something hilarious will not be so hilarious after a week or so, eventually my brain won't think it's scary anymore, that happend before, but now I'm more... generally scared, and I mentioned that I'll be 14 in two months, so WHAT KIND OF FUCKING THERAPY ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT AT THE AGE OF FOURTEEN :mfinger:
I just thought it' ironic that when I was younger, I was braver. That's how all the teenagers I know are.

ahahaha. come on man, the grudge? the movie where that freaky kid meows like a cat? thats not scary, thats just fuckin hilarious.

I can be the same way wich is why I don't watch those types of movies. I had to turn off Butterfly Effect cuz it was scaring the shit out of me. Just stay away from those things and u'll be fine. U're young and u'll get over it eventually. Until then carry a big ass flashlight with u.

Short and simple, this is why little children shouldn't see rated R movies, wait till you are a big boy. By the way, if things get rough you can always sleep with your mommy, I hear she gives good head.

HA! Try playing Doom 3 until 12 AM and then trying to sleep.

Now THAT is scary, my friend. Every little noise sends chills down your spine after you play that game.

Overrated game, though. I got sick of it and uninstalled it.

Lol funny thing is i watched EVERY scary movie that ive heard of and the Butterfly effect was one of them. Seriously it isent scary just disturbing.

As for The Grudge i watched the japinise version of it has japinise actors and there are more scenes in it(also was created in 2002). But i swear one time while i was watching it(the scene were the lady walks upstairs to find her friend). I had to get the mail it was 8pm and i litteraly RAN and quckly got the mail but i went back to watching it. But i have to say it was scary but it didint make me freak out and jump out of my seat or anything. I even had the lights off.

The Grudge: PG-13

Anyways...

I saw The Grudge (twice). It was good, but I wasn't scared.

Don't worry, my friend Alec (15 like me) was jumping like a little bitch. We're all over it now, except for an occasional croak on the phone, we don't even think of it.

Just don't fret too much about it.

oh. fucking. christ. honestly man... the grudge?? i was so disappointed in that movie! i mean they did such a good job at remaking the ring, but this one was just horrible! there was so much that didn't make sense and was just plain fucking stupid. it had so much more potential. why was the kid meowing? did he swallow his cat? why did the dead woman make that croaking sound? i used to make that sound as a kid! you know what, nevermind i'm not going to get into my rant on that movie!
i'm not too impressed with people getting scared of the butterfly effect either... just... wow people.. wow. (which is not to say i didn't think it was a good movie, cuz it was... so was eternal sunshine which i just saw yesteryawn... much more awesome though.. anyway!) i admit i've let my imagination get the best of me too many times before, but it was over way worse things than this! if anything fear exites me. which is why i love horror movies... or thrillers of any sort.
dude, look into getting into a film career. you'll learn about everything that goes on to make these things and knowing the background of these things might help you to get over this fear. if not, live with it. like i said, it's exciting!
