im running 2 alpine pdx 1 1000 amps into a type x sub with a 5 farad cap somehow

everything shuts down.? my head units output is 4 volts i checked and on my amps it was switched to 0.1 to 1.0 volts, instead of being on 1.0 to 8.0 volts, could this be the problem of why everthing shuts down. thanks ur help is aprciated
