1. If i keep my fish in my room, i have an alarm that goes off in the morning at 6 30, will that bother or startle the fish?ill keep my fishy and the alarm at least 10ft away from each other, but the alarm is pretty loud so will it hurt the fish at all?

2.For my tank, i have like a vase i'll use. i've used it as a fish tank before but that was just with like little cheep fishes...but they never lasted more than a week. i wanna get a nicer fish this time so is a vase ok for it?the vase is like circular, and about half a foot across.

3.what kind of fish will last long but not too expensive.a fish less than like 10ish dollars at petco.

4. and for water, how often shall i change it?
and is the water from the filter in my fridge okay,or do i need to boil it and cool it still.

5.and fish food?flakes or pellets?

thanks a bunch!!

1. It should be fine

2. You need a proper tank with a heater and filter, a vase will not work.

3. Platies, Guppies, most fish, but I wouldn't get them from Petco, they're usually sickly. Get small fish if you have a small tank, none that grow above 1 inch or so with a 10 gallon, a common starting tank size, 1 inch per gallon for small fish 1 inch or less. NO goldfish if the tank is under 30 gallons.

4. Once a week, change 25% Water from the fridge should be fine if you warm it up and dechlorinate it

5. Depends on the fish, flakes are best if they're top-dwellers, sinking pellets if they're bottom feeders.

Do your research on any fish you plan to get.

1. The alarm should not effect them.

2. A vase is useless for fish. Those fish died so quickly for a reason. If you want to keep fish you need an aquarium, with filtration, and a heater depending on whether or not the fish are tropical.

If I were you I would purchase a book on aquarium keeping and learn about proper fish care first, and the research what fish you want and buy a tank accordingly. Tank size dictates what sort of fish you keep.

Many fish are long lived. Be sure that you are aware and prepared to care for the fish for the entirety of its life.

I had like alot of beta fishes in the previous years.... there really easy to take care of pretty fishes and they usually live a long time. just don't put 2 males next to each other.. or females they tend to fight. even in seperate bolws they open there gill thing it's weird!!

I also had a gupppy!! omg there soo funy to watch! there also easy to take care of.

i don't think ur alarm with bother them. Vase is fine! beta fishss' like tight small places usually they live in vases with plants above them.
and u should ask the petco person 'bout the water thing. FLAKES pallet are usually for pond fishes....
