I'm getting a '95 Dodge ram. It's a nice truck, but the paint and body aren't exactly ideal. It has some rust holes and the paint is peeling. Now here's my question for you: Should I paint the car myself or send it to a shop? The thing is, I can remove the rust and patch up the body myself (and a friend who's more experienced can help me). Once that's done, I'll only have the paint to worry about. Should I, and inexperienced bodyman, work on this myself or send it to a shop? If I send it to a shop should they paint the entire thing, or just spray a coat on it and call it good? Or do you have another suggestion? I'd like to know how much each of these things will cost (approximately). Thanks for your help.
