I'm on Verizon.

(Speaking in a friends point of view. I'm happy w. my W810i)

I want a feature filled phone, on Verizon.

I'm used to the nice unlocked phones... and i see that Verizon doesn't have as great of a selection.

I got the Samsung A990, & Chocolate in mind now.

Help!

(It's 4 a chick.. so i guess it has to b 'girlish')
 
The chocolate just because the A990 is huge and ugly and not a 'girly' type of phone.

I loved my GSM Chocolate and the CDMA one adds more features...
 
yeah i had the a990 for one night and lets say its not that great of a phone. the camera works great but service is horrible.
 
We like it's form factor though. Is the reception that bad? 'Cause she is gonna b stayin in Ithaca, NY... and most cellphone service is terrible. Verizon is the best one, and she still doesnt really get full bars where she is at.

Can anyone confirm the reception problems? That's an automatic con.
 
No Razr. I have something against that phone.

I think there are better phones out, and the fact that everyone has ones is... upsetting.

Trends today.
 
If you can get the e815 its the best if you neede good reception also you can get the v325 or a used or new v710 off ebay since there both trimode .ps trimode phones are good for when you travel alot .
 
It's not much of traveling, we live in NYC, and she goes to college in upstate, ny. It's just a real rural area where she is at.

Good suggestions, the only thing bothering me is the lack of video play. I understand because it does not hare expandable mem, but...
 
The v710 and e815 both have expandable memory.The v325 or the v276 dont have expandable mem or video but the e815 does and its a very good phone for rf but if you need a tri mode the v710 you can get off ebay and its loaded mp3, memory card, video and all that.
 
i have e815 and v710 i love them both .. great signal..better than the razor... the new lg choc. will be cool if shes in to ipod.. similar look

just my 2 cents..
