what is up with the £? how much is this in us dollars
 
It is a UK site rather than a US site. The price is quoted in British Pounds (GBP).

One pound = $1.62 at current exchange rates.

Convert the price to US dollars = 159.99 * 1.62 = $259.18

The site may not accept dollars. Even if it does, expect to pay quite a bit for overseas shipping.
