an object starts from rest and undergoes uniform acceleration. during the first second it travels 5 m, how far will it travel during the third second?
i figured out that the acceleration is 10 and then when i plugged it in for 3 seconds, i got 45 m as an answer.. but the answer is 25?? why? i think you are supposed to subtract the d of the second second but then why not the 1 second too??
