I'm not able to transfer videos from my LG Chocolate to my memory card-Please help!?

I inserted the card into the slot with the info facing up. Then, I went to my Flix and tried to move a movie to the card but it says the file exceeds the available space. The card is empty and holds 4 GB and the video is only 200 KB. Please help! Thank you!
