I'm not a Beatles fan, but....

I found this on another board labeled "What if the Beatles wrote Stairway to Heaven". So what do you think? Is it what you would imagine? Does it seem close enough to the Beatles to pass?

There is a reason why the Beatles didn't write Stairway to heaven......

and i am not Beatles fan at all but if I could I would slap you for thinking that those non talent guys in the clip were anything like the Beatles. The Beatles had talent

It's ok I personally hate them I think they are the most overrated band ever.They are talents but I think there is too my hype with them they put out some really good songs but every ever good song there is like 2 or 3 crap ones. But strangely I am a huge John Lennon fan .

...and as for all of those who have actually listened thoroughly to Hard Day's Night and the originals on Please Please Me, With The Beatles and Beatles For Sale, they know that at least half of Rubber Soul, if not considerably more than that, was much of the same thing.

Rubber Soul sounda nothing like A Hard Days Night...It might be considered in the same Pop/Rock genre, but they sound nothing alike.

Lol at the Beatles having two or three crap songs for every good one. There isn't a single bad Beatles album. Possibly the most consistent and prolific group in history.

Taken as a whole, it is a wholly different experience. Divide it into pieces, however, and you could fit a significant nuraber of RS tracks onto HDN comfortably. That is to say, they would not have sounded odd or out of place on said album.

The Beatles are only something wholly other to what they began as by the time you reach Revolver.


BTW, I thought that Stairway To Heaven vid was very funny. The general style could be analogous to SOME early Beatles work. The way it shifts to Twist'n'Shout at the end though was just ridiculous .

I hate it when people say The Beatles were overrated. Without them the entire face of pop music would be different today.
