I got 2 centers, 4 forwards, and 4 guards. It's hard to list only ten, especially with so many great centers out there. I'm trying to go pre-2000 draft too. Lebron? GTFOH.... Here goes:
10)Hakeem Olajuwon - Speed, agility, instinct, shot-blocking, strength, inside & outside game. No weaknesses.
9)Wilt Chamberlain - DOMINANT, next.
8)Tim Duncan - Will probably go down as the best PF to play. Inside, outside, smart around the basic.
7)Kevin Garnett - Same stats as Duncan, just a little lighter in the pants
6)Larry Bird - Best pure shooter to play.
5)Scottie Pippen - Best all-around player. Versatile, 3's, could post, smaller defenders, defense. Could play and guard every position except center.
4)John Stockton - Greatest "small" guard to do it. Like Bird, didn't have much athleticism, but could manipulate the defense to get off any shot or pass necessary. Great shooter.
3)Isaiah Thomas - Speed, creative ability, tough as they come, can shoot, can defend, all around great player.
2)Magic Johnson - Great at running the floor and making plays. The mismatch on defense would force the double team and the ball rotation would create an open shot every time. Didn't have the best of shots, but had all the intangibles.
1)Michael Jordan - name speaks for itself. Even though he's an a$$hole of EPIC proportions.
I know I left off a lot of fan favorites like Kobe, but, to me these are the top 10.
