I'm making a school newspaper and i need help...?

What's a good program for newspaper making besides Microsoft Publisher? And i'm trying to make a game in my newspaper. I wanna put a picture of something abstract and i want the readers to guest. What should i draw? I tried Beijing's Bird's Nest Stadium but everyone in my family can guest it. It's to easy. Help Please...
 
honestly I'm not trying to be a D$ck but you should stay away from such a large commitment until you are fully prepared
 
MS Publisher is a good program...I used to use it for the monthly paper I publish in my town. what is use now is Serif Page Plus x2.
 
The best program, if you can afford it, is Adobe InDesign. Quark Express is also widely used in the newspaper industry.

No matter how nice you make your newspaper, however, no one will respect it if you don't edit it thoroughly. A budding journalist should be careful with everything he writes, if only to practice for the future.
