My main concern is the top two notes. When all fingers are up, I get B flat. When I hold down the thumb hole I get A flat. However on my market bought flute, the difference between the top two notes is a half tone instead of a whole tone. Do you know what happens to the pitches when I make the thumb hole note hole bigger? Will it raise the pitches of the notes below it as well? Thanks
