Im Looking into a Jeep Wrangler as a First Car, Suggestions.?

Im 15, going on 16. I've been looking for cars that have interested me and I found the Jeep Wrangler. I Loveee It! I would prolly be getting a 1990-1995. BUT, people tell me a lot of bad stuff about them and I've read up on the them , and that one after another things go wrong with it. So I didn't know if that was true or not. And do you think that it would be a decent car for a 16 year old. Oh yeah, as well, I don't plan to go offroading with it, or abusing it like that, I just like how its not a big car and things like the top come off. it seems like a nice first care, not too big and has a good look to it.

I've had two Jeeps and they aren't horrible cars. My only thinking for you is with gas prices the way they are it may not be the best of choices especially with the older models. The MPG is definitely not the best... I would suggest finding an older Honda Civic or possibly a similar type coupe which are generally nice first cars with not a terrible amount of upkeep money... but of course it's ultimately up to you!
