In the first one, the girl and guy are childhood friends, she loves him, he just thinks of her as a little sister cause he's still hung up over his ex girlfriend who has a kid and is getting re-married to her ex husband. An invitation arrives for the wedding and the main guy (along with the main girl) flies to the location on a small company plane that's been tampered with. The plane goes down in some water but they both make it out with some bumps and bruises. They attend the wedding and that night they end up spending the night together but he calls out the other girl's name. I know, an omg moment. The next day he doesn't even remember (thought it was a sexy dream about his ex) cause of the pain killers the doc gave him cause of the plane crash (he ended up drinking a toast to the happy couple so drugs and alcohol didn't mix well).
The second book deals with a single mom and dad. I think it's set in Britain or something but the story line is very simple and sweet. It starts off with the girl attending a last day of school or graduation or something. She sees the popular guy and they have a moment together but it doesn't last (I think they were having a makeout session but was interrupted). They go their separate ways, she went to America, had two kids, got divorced and came back home with her kids, his high school girlfriend was with him through college too, I think she lied about getting pregnant (so as to keep him) until she really DID get knocked up, they got married but she passed away. I think he is an architect now or something. So the story is simple but sweet like I mentioned, it's just the two of them rediscovering their attraction to one another and close to the ending, having their kids accept their relationship (he has a daughter, she has two, all of them are elementary school age). If anyone has an idea, please fire away. Thanks.
