...the invisible wound"? The story is fairly simple. A man and his wife live together , though his job keeps him busy and out of the house for some time. One day he discovers love letters in his wifes drawer that lead him to believe his wife is cheating on him. He then kills his wife. Something significant happens with his hands ( blood drops on them, or something) and for the longest time after, he feels an agonizing pain in his palms. He consults doctors and cannot find out what is causing this pain. Finally in the end, he learns that the love letters were not for his wife, but for the wife's friend/sister or something like that and realizes the pain in his hands was left from killing his innocent wife.
