...gift!!? Hello,
I'm looking to buy a book for my gf's birthday that she really enjoyed from her childhood.
The alleged title of the book is something around the lines of "in the world of dragons" or some derivative of that.
The main character is a girl (I think) that randomly wanders into a new world (similar to Narnia) and meets various creatures and dragons on the way. There is some importance to an amulet, perhaps a ruby amulet in the book as well.
It may have been published (or at least existed in) the early 2000s. This was a novel type book (i.e. not a picture book) and was written by a male author.
Please help! I've been looking for weeks and I can't figure it out! Thanks!
