Trek 1000 road bike? Help! Im looking for a good starter Mountain Bike for my wife and I. I used to have a Trek 1000 road bike so I am kind of partial to trek. I dont want to spend an arm and a leg but I do want a good bike. I am 5'8 and my wife is 5'4 if this helps. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
 
Head on down to the Trek dealer to see what they have, do some test rides and get fitted. The Trek 820 is the cheapest.
