It was on the newer releases shelves at meijer sometime within the past 2 years (sorry, I don't remember when I read it!) It had a cover with a pair of bright red boots (they looked like wellingtons?) It's about a woman who's sent a letter by her dead ex-best friend that she wants her to take care of her little girl (Tegan I think is her name). But the main girl doesn't understand why she's been asked to raise the girl because she slept with her ex-best friend's fiancee (and father of Tegan) and ruined their wedding, and they haven't talked since. It was such an amazing story, can someone please help me?? I've been agonizing over trying to find it.
