...find any body lifts? i have looked at a bunch of places but cant seem to find any body lifts over 1 inch. . . ??? do they make them?
 
Considering the XJ is of unibody construction, there aren't body lifts available, because the body is the frame. There are only suspension lifts. Many manufacturers make lifts for the XJ.
 
Yea, the Cherokees are unibodies, therefore all you really need is a suspension lift kit, you can get these ranging from 0.75 inches all the way to 12 inches on ebay. And If you know how to use some tools it'll only take you around 3 hours to put the spacers and new shocks in.
 
No body lifts for cherokee or grand cherokee. like moose said, unibody layout means body is the frame. stay away from anyone claiming to have one. 2" suspension lift start around $179. 4" for about $600
