rent a bike than take bus?Help? Hi, I'm Michael.
I'm a foreign student in L.A.
My host family is in Culver City and my school is in Westwood and every morning and evening I pay one dollar to ride the bus, it's ruining me and I'm always late.
So I was thinking maybe I can buy or rent a bike to go there, so that I don't have to be in a hurry every morning and know exactly what time it'd take me to get to Westwood (45 minutes).
But I have some questions :
Where can I rent a bike in West LA (Santa Monica, Culver City, Westwood etc..)???
What would be the price ranges for renting a bike for let's say 1 month?
Is there any bike that I can buy who are under 200 $, maybe in Target??
On the weekends I like to go down to Santa Monica and have to take Metro buses, Would it be better for me to buy a monthly or weekly Metro pass if I can't afford bike rental?
I'd be really thankful if anybody out there could help me on this, It'd be really awesome.
Thanks
Bye
