im leaving for marine boot camp?

they are not gonna push you past your limit. past your comfort zone? of course...FAR past your comfort zone, but not past your limit. You are going to learn so much about yourself and your capabilities. as tiring as all the running/situps/pushups/etc are gonna be, boot camp is all about mental strength.

and i wanna say THANK YOU for making the decision to serve our country, that is something to truly admire
 
Get in physically fit. Get up early and run a few miles. Hit the gym for a few hours, doing a variety of cardiovascular fitness and strength training. Mainly just get mentally ready. You'll be put under a lot of stress, especially the first few weeks.
 
Don;t be worried about anything. you'll be fine and despite a few shots to the stomach here and there you'll be well taken care of. just try and get yourself into shape physically. start running to build endurance and perhaps some weight training so you can hold your pack up during 10 mile humps.
