I'm joining the military, how will my husband react to moving around?

He supports me, he understands the military requires you to move. Sometimes very frequently. He's said he's fine it, but how we he really feel? Do you think he'll secretly resent the fact I'm "dragging" him all over the place? How hard is it for spouses to adjust? How difficult is it for them to find work on or around the bases?

Not everyone moves in the military, sometimes you can stay in one location because of your job for years. Or you might move every few years. it is a chance to see the world sometimes you can have a chance to go to places and live in places you would never have with any other job. It can be incredible with some locations, the culture, the food, the scenery.... If he doesn't want to move then he will tell you, but don't assume that he is against it because he might truly be happy for you. For work it depends on what he does, often you can not have a problem and other times you do. Spouses can adjust to move, new areas, new friends easily and sometimes they don't. It will vary per individual and how they feel.
