how hard it ill be? Ok so i'm 25, i think i'm pretty smart and want the stability of a good job for my family. I really would like advice on what training will be like so i'm prepared for it. Any help is appreciated, T

do what you're told.
always volunteer when the Drill Sergeants ask for volunteers(they'll see this, and by the 3rd or 4th week they'll tell you to sit down and they'll find someone else)
treat everyone with respect(don't take the mob mentality of picking on the #@$^ bag, help him out)

when it's over, you'll look back and won't believe you got through it. life gets easier after that.

Basically the first week is an introduction. The first three days of the week are crap. They weed out the ones that dont even make it on the buss to basic trainning.
Near the end of the first week things get fine. You eventually find you you just went threw a mini basic trainning.

The first three weeks of basic trainning are going to suck. You are officially the scum of the earth during the first three weeks. The next three weeks things get better and you actually develop a relationship with your drill sarge. about the 6th week you become determined to make it threw and you dont want to go to sick call because you want to stick it out.
(though sometimes people use sick call for a break)
The last few weeks are the hardest physically but the most rewarding of your life if you have a good platoon.

There will be asses who think they can out wit the drill and gang up on them but they will be quickly demolished and every one will be smoked.

People will sneak out and people will be smoked for that. People think they can sneak treats past the drill and they will be smoked along with every one else.
If the platoon doesnt show an effort you will be smoked.
People will exchange letters they will be caught and your life will be utter hell.
In the long run? It will be the most increadible experience in your life. Both good and bad.

once you set your mind to do something it will fall in place!! when i joined the military years ago all i did was excersice eat right stay way away from the soda pops thats not good for you that only slows you down plenty of water boot-camp aint that hard just keep focus and dont let people scare you its not hard.
