I'm jealous of my friend talking to the girl i like ): how do i deal with it?

i like this girl in my class, she's very nice and sweet. she's kind to everyone around her. it started as a friendship and now i think I'm in love with her (or maybe crush i don't know) . But she is very popular in class, everyone tries talk to her so i sometimes i don't have a chance. The thing is there is this one guy who always avoid her from me (either it was coincidentally or on purpose) and he always talks to her. every time i see this guy makes me wanna kill him or something. I guess I'm having problem with jealousy ): . I don't want to hurt her feelings, I just want her to be happy. So please help me, what can i do???
