And I already have my computer running and everything but I know if you disconnect the motherboard from some other hardware that it loses all of its memory (like having to re-install an OS and all my software etc.). I need to d/c my processor chip to install a different pad onto the motherboard, and I need to take my motherboard out of the box so I can install a new pad to put under the motherboard. What can I disconnect from it and what can't I to keep all of my memory? Thanks.
