I'm in the mood for dancing but I'm not...?

Ok this happens to me like once or twice a year.
It's the time where I feel too busy to dance, but what you don't know is that, dancing, is my job. (I feel like my classes are repetitive and I'm not very inspired when I choregraph, maybe I'm just too tired, one thing is sure, I can't allow myself to take a break because if I do, I will have to go hunt to eat..)
SO, is there anything i can do to 'put a log on the fire' so I can get back into it as soon as possible.

I'd like some songs to choregraph to as well. (Hip Hop)
I AM a dance teacher...as for the other style thing, thats a good idea but I have like ten to my list haha. I tried ballet, yes ballet. and its realllly not for me. as for contemporary, no matter how I practice, there are some improvements, but it's a lost case hahaha. but thanks.

Youtube and limewire.

On both, do a random music search. Dance to things you would normally never go for. Go to a place you don't normally dance at and just go nuts. You're in a rut from the repetitive, so get out of the usual. Get inspired by new ideas; watch other dancers' performances to see if there are new moves you've never seen before and would like to try.

Maybe take up another style of dance for a while, I've been doing Belly Dancing for almost 14 years and I find it does get quiet repetitive, what you need to remember is that going over and over the basics will make you a stronger dancer as a whole. To fix this I took up ballet and jazz as well to give my brain something else to think about. And as for Choreography pick a song you don't listen to that often, mainstream songs can be quiet hard to choreograph to, pick something with a heavy beat you can easily follow and only do what you can, don't put really hard things in your dance that you know you can't do. I know its really boring but to be a good dancer you have to take it one step at a time. We've all been through it. Another thing I do is i make the dance class fun by being a bit of a dick head at times. Dance is all about having fun. Get right into the moves don't just you know casually do them, do them the best you can possible do and put heaps of energy behind everything you do and it will be more fun :) trust me my mums my teacher and I've always been stuck in classes with people under me but you just gotta grit your teeth and do the best you possibly can with whats been given to you :) I hope I helped.
