Dependents are your offspring .

I have never heard of brothers being dependents unless they are minors and the court has designated you guardian .

Have you asked personal about this ?

You have to go through an application to prove that he is your dependent and that you provide more then half your income to support him You can obtain this information on DFAS.Mil under secondary dependent or if you ask DEERS for the information. Not until you get approval will you obtain anything financial or medical for him. Your heart is in the good place but it may be a little more complex then maybe you assume Good luck though

you cannot. at 18 he is an adult to the military and you cannot add him unless he is severely disabled and unable to care for himself.

besides.. you don't have enough time.. he would have aged out at 21 anyway and it often takes 2 years to get a secondary dependent declared.

I don't think you can, he's legally an adult and not your spouse... unless there's some reason he can't work for himself
