I'm in between a medium and a large t-shirt.?

The medium is pretty snug and 100% cotton. It fits perfectly. But if I were to wash and dry it, I'm sure it would be too tight. On the other hand, the large is just too big and looks goofy on me. What do I do?
 
If you wash and dry it correctly, there will be no change in size.

Before you wash ALL of your clothing (and I mean all; this is extremely important) you have to check the care tag. This can be at the bottom of the shirt or at the top with the brand label. It explains what you should do.

If you still don't know how to correctly dry your shirts, then air dry it. Use a clothesline or a professional drying rack and you should be fine.
 
well.... this might not be right but...
maybe if the large t-shirt is 100% cotton too and you washed that, maybe the large t-shirt would fit like the medium one... thats not washed.
