boyfriend,do i need to go home first? im australian, my boyfriend is a us citizen we have had a few visits & decided now is the time! im wondering if we get married here in the us can we upgrade my visa waiver status without me having to return home & come back! any help with this matter would be greatly apprieated thankyou
 
yes, absolutely. You cannot adjust status on a visa waiver. Actually the best route would be to apply for a fiance visa for you. Unfortunately it will take a while until you will get it.
