I'm hesitant to have sex with my boyfriend?

I've been with my boyfriend for quite a while now, and we love each other very deeply. We've talked openly about sex and what turns us on and so forth. We've discussed our having sex a lot, too, as it would be the first time for both of us. We're both perfectly healthy and he has protection and everything, and I want him really badly and he wants me, but something is still holding me back. I guess I'm kind of scared of the whole thing and unfortunately I think I'm kind of squeamish with genitalia, lol (please don't make fun of me! haha) I have so much love for him, though. Does anyone have any advice on how to overcome my insecurities and my fears?
Oh, and I'm 18 by the way.
 
Step by step. You'd be throwing yourself in at the deep end if you did everything all at once. So space it out. See each other in underwear one week, see each other naked the next, THEN you can think about engaging in foreplay. Just get over the whole 'naked' issue first.
 
when no one is home, just start kissing and let things happen. its not as hard you think.
