Okay, I use regular paper and I have a "smear guard" highlighter.
Printer type: Hp Photosmart c4480. Not a laser printer.
At school we have our own printer but I would also like to print at home too and still be able to highlight it regularly, however it ends up smearing a bit and it bugs me.
The school printer is a laser printer and I can highlight with no smearing easily, I'm just wondering why that is.
We have perfectly good high quality ink.
Is it that our printer prints too deeply?
Can I resolve it by drying the ink after a print somehow?
Anything will help.
Thanks!
