Ok. I went to the icon glossary in my phone and I had 1x signal strength everywhere. Home, school, even out of town.
But recently it changed to EVDO signal strength and EVDO data service, and now I continuously have to restart my phone to send messages.
If I turn off the EVDO data service can I still text and make calls? If so, how do I keep I off? I go to settings, data, on/off and press disable. The it goes to the yellow bars, 1x signal strength. But it goes right back to the EVDO data service.
(sometimes the 3 arrows going up and down are lit, sometimes not)
I don't even have Internet. I have unlimited text and free nights and weekends. That is all!! I'm lost!
