I have a Sylvania LD320SSX "HDTV" and I can't figure out how to enable the HD function? If that makes any sense... I'm not too familiar with TV systems but when I press "Info" on the remote a small box comes up in the top of the screen that says "480i SD 4:3"
Now I've seen other HDTV's and the picture looks a lot better than mine does, mine looks decent but blurry. I've fooled around with the settings, Sharpness, Brightness etc... But the picture doesn't look perfect to me. Especially around text, like a news reel on a news channel the picture just looks blurry or grainy, tough to describe.
So to my question, is there a way to change it from 480i to 720p? I noticed that it has a USB port on it, do I have to download a firmware update or something? Also, I have a regular definition cable box, if I upgraded that to an HD box would the picture change itself? I tried changing the settings on my Xbox 360 to play games in HD but it when I plug the HD wires into the TV there is no picture.
Any kind of solution would be helpful, thanks!
